John's first major tour - Larry's Rebels, New Zealand - Blast Off '68 Spectacular

(20th) Plays with Larry's Rebels at Founders Theatre, Hamilton New Zealand

(24th) 'Rose Coloured Glasses' is released

(25th) Looking Through A Tear album is released

Happening '70 show is a four hour tribute to Johnny

(3rd) Acapulco Sun is released

Goes to London for 3 weeks

Can't get a hotel room in Copenhagen so sleeps in the chairs at the Airport until the morning flights resume

(6th) Pippin opens at Her Majesty's Theatre, Adelaide

(28th) 'It's Magic' a variety show with Colleen Hewitt screens for the first time

John hosts 'Opportunty Knocks'

Both John and Jill perform in the stage show, Roberta at St Georges Leagues Club, Sydney

(17th) John officially opens the headquarters for the Victorian Deserted Children's Association

(28th) The Magic Of Cole Porter airs on TV, John is a guest

(1st) Performs in 'The Show' at the Festival Theatre, Adelaide

(19th, 20th) LRB perform at The Fox Theater, Missouri, USA

(7th) Performs at Idretsparken, Copenhagen, Denmark. Tina Turner is also on the bill.

(17th) Performs at the Ricky May Tribute Show, Darling Habour Convention Centre

(24th) John performs at World Expo '88 where Age Of Reason is heard for the first time

(25th) Age Of Reason is released and both the album and single debuted at No.1 and remained on the charts for 8 weeks


1989

(18th) Performs Age Of Reason and You're The Voice at the Prince's Trust Rock Gala.

(31st) Communication is released


1998

(25th) Denmark concert at Langelands Festival

(27th) London concert at Shepherds Bush Empire

John is s special guest on The Late Show - ABC TV


1999

(1st) John is presented with the 'key to the city' by the Lord Mayor of Melbourne

(1st) Live At The Regent Theatre is recorded and Collins Street in Melbourne is closed for a street party

(1st) A live telecast of the Regent Theatre concert is cancelled in favour of Wimbeldon

(4th) I Can't Believe H'es 50 Tour continues, Burswood Entertainment Centre, WA

(5th) John's birthday concert, Live At The Regent Theatre is shown nationally on TV

(7th-8th) I Can't Believe He's 50 Tour continues, Melbourne Park

John competes in the 1999 NCHA Summer Cutting Spectacular in Fort Worth, Texas.

(17th)Trying To Live My Life Without You is released

(25th) Trying To Live My Life Without You debuts on the ARIA charts at No.47


2001

(4th) Performs at Victor Chang memorial dinner - to raise funds for the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institutute at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, John donated his time.

(7th) The Main Event - with Olivia Newton-John and Anthony Warlow Darwin - Football Park Marrara NT

(31st) John is awarded for his outstanding success on the ARIA charts for The Last Time album.

(17th) John performs at the Kids Under Cover Ball at the Palladium Room, Crown Casino, Melbourne

(21st) John performs at Bec Cartwright and Lleyton Hewitt's wedding reception. Lleyton sings a duet with John.
